Electrodes for Welding Stainless Steel & Dissimilar Metals – Austenitic-Ferritic Low Heat Input

Basis of Alloys:

C, Mn, Cr, Ni

Application & Description:

A unique Austenitic-ferritic low heat input welding electrode provides a combination of high tensile strength and excellent weldability. The electrode has a controlled grain structure and ferritic composition. Weld metals offer superb combination of high strength, crack resistance, ductility, and weldability. Ideal for joining difficult-to-weld steels and dissimilar steels such as dies, tool, and spring steels, or for joining steel of unknown composition. Also used as a cushion layer on difficult steels before depositing the final hard facing layer.

Re-Dry Condition:

Re-Dry the electrode at 350°C for 1 hour before use.
