A medium heavy coated, hydrogen-controlled, iron powder, air hardening type hardfacing electrode.
Weld deposits are hard and non-machinable, though weld dressing is possible by grinding.
The electrode is designed to withstand friction and moderate impact, ensuring durability
across a wide range of applications.
Applications:
- High carbon and high sulphur steels – without cracks.
- Crane wheels, drill bits, crusher hammers, shear blades, rock drills, cane cutting knives.
- Impellers, oil expeller worms, conveyor buckets, sprockets, etc.
- Ideal for building up worn-out parts and general hardfacing jobs due to its versatility.
Re-Dry Condition:
Re-dry the electrode at 250°C–300°C for 1 hour before use.
