Specially Designed High Nickel Alloy Electrode

Classification:

  • AWS/SFA-5.11: E NiCrFe-2

Characteristics:

A high Nickel alloy electrode specially designed to resist cracking, oxidation, and corrosion. It also provides high strength at elevated temperatures. Offers smooth arc stability, excellent operating characteristics, and easy slag detachability.

Applications:

  • Welding dissimilar metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel, Nickel, and Nickel-based alloys.
  • Base materials: Inconel 600, Incoloy 800, Incoloy DS.
  • Cryogenic vessels & pipework of 3–9% Ni steels for temperatures down to -196°C.
  • Elevated temperature services in furnace equipment & petrochemical plants up to 1000°C.
  • Joining and surfacing in various critical fabrications.

Re-Dry Condition:

Re-dry the electrode at 250°C for 1 hour before use.
