Hydrogen Controlled Iron Powder Electrode for Welding Creep-Resistant 1Cr-0.5Mo Steels

Characteristics:

A medium heavy coated, hydrogen controlled, iron powder type electrode suitable for all positions. It produces radiographic quality welds on 1.25% Cr-0.50% Mo steels with high working efficiency. The weld metal exhibits excellent creep resistance up to 550°C.

Applications:

Suitable for welding creep-resistant steels like Cr-Mo pipelines and plates used in oil refineries.
Power plants and steam boilers.
Equipment subjected to high temperature in synthetic chemical units.
Repair of cast steel components.
Parts of automobiles and earthmoving machinery.

Re-Dry Condition:

Re-dry the electrode at 250°C for 1 hour before use.
