Hydrogen Controlled Iron Powder Electrode for Welding Creep-Resistant 2Cr-1Mo Steels

Characteristics:

A medium heavy coated, hydrogen controlled, iron powder type electrode suitable for all positions. It produces radiographic quality welds on 2.25% Cr-1.00% Mo steels with high working efficiency. The weld metal exhibits excellent creep resistance up to 575°C.

Applications:

Suitable for welding high tensile, low alloy steels with 2.25% Cr and 1% Mo used in oil refineries and power plants.
Steam boilers and equipment subjected to high temperatures in synthetic chemical units.
Repairs of cast steel components.
Parts of automobiles and earthmoving machinery.
Marine applications.

Re-Dry Condition:

Re-dry the electrode at 250°C for 1 hour before use.
