Characteristics:

ER5356 is a general-purpose aluminum welding wire, chosen for its relatively high shear strength. It also provides excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in saltwater environments. ER5356 is recommended for welding 5000 series aluminum base metals.

Applications:

Welding selected grades of wrought Al/Mg alloys
Suitable for 5083, 5056, and 5456 aluminum alloys
