Low Alloy Steel Flux Cored Wire for MAG/MIG Welding
Classification:
Characteristics:
E81T1-Ni2 is a low alloy steel flux-cored wire producing 2.0–2.25% Ni in the weld deposit,
providing excellent low-temperature toughness. Offers good weld bead appearance with a stable arc,
low spatter, complete slag coverage, and easy slag removal. Suitable for steels requiring tensile strength
in the range of 80,000–100,000 psi.
Applications:
- Welding steels such as ASTM A572, A575, and A734
- Offshore platform construction and storage tank projects
- Earthmoving, mining machinery, and shipbuilding applications
Shielding Gas:
Welding with CO2 gas and/or 75–80% Ar / balance CO2.
