Stainless Steel Continuous & Cut Length Solid Welding Wire for MIG/TIG Process

Characteristics:
ER316LSi is an austenitic stainless steel low-carbon welding wire containing
approximately 18% Cr, 12% Ni, and 2% Mo. The higher silicon content enhances
weld fluidity, producing fine rippled and bright weld bead appearances.
The weld metal contains a small amount of ferrite, offering excellent crack resistance.
Low carbon content improves arc stability and enhances resistance to intergranular corrosion.
Applications:
- Designed for MIG, TIG, and SA welding of stainless steels such as SS 316L and SS 318
- Excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, particularly in chloride-containing environments
- Low carbon content ensures enhanced resistance to intergranular corrosion
- Recommended for high-temperature service up to 350°C
Shielding Gas:
Welding with 100% Ar gas or Ar + 2% O2 gas.
