Characteristics:

ER307 is a Manganese-austenitic stainless steel welding wire suitable for applications where high standards of toughness and crack resistance must be met. It is designed for MIG/TIG/SA welding. The higher silicon grade enhances weld flow and weldability, resulting in smoother weld beads.

Applications:

Cladding of hardenable steels and armour plate
Welding austenitic stainless and manganese wear steels
Heat resisting steels up to 850°C
Hardfacing of hot work steel, stainless valve steel, and carbon steel components requiring abrasion and corrosion resistance

Shielding Gas:

Welding with 100% Ar gas and/or Ar + 1–5% O₂ gas.
