Basic coated high alloyed, low hydrogen type electrode for welding martensitic and martensitic-ferrite steels

Classification:

AWS/SFA-5.4: E 410NiMoL-15
EN 1600: 1997 E 13 4 B 6 2

Characteristics:

Basic coated low hydrogen electrode suitable for soft martensitic and martensitic-ferrite rolled, forged, and cast steels. Mainly used in hydro turbines and compressors. Resistant to corrosion from water, steam, and seawater atmosphere. Well-balanced alloying components provide excellent ductility and toughness, with high cracking resistance despite a high metal recovery of approximately 130%.

Application:

  • Surfacing of high pressure valves, turbine blades, guide vans, and runners.
  • Pulp and paper plant equipment made of corrosion-resistant chromium steel.
  • Applications requiring high pitting and impact resistance.

Re-Dry Condition:

Re-Dry the electrode at 350°C for 1 hrs before use.
