Characteristics:

ER347 is a Niobium-stabilized 18Cr-8Ni type stainless steel welding wire, designed to deliver excellent weld appeal when used with Argon + O₂ or CO₂ shielding gas mixtures. The stabilized composition ensures high resistance to intergranular corrosion and maintains weld integrity at elevated temperatures.

Applications:

Suitable for MIG, TIG, and SA welding of AISI 321 stainless steel
Best for welding 18/8 types subjected to service temperatures between 400°C and 850°C
Higher silicon content improves weld flow and produces smoother weld beads

Shielding Gas:

Welding with 100% Ar gas or Ar + 2% O₂ gas.
