Stainless Steel Continuous & Cut Length Solid Welding Wire for MIG/TIG Welding

Characteristics:

ER309L is an austenitic stainless steel welding wire. The weld metal contains a controlled amount of ferrite, ensuring excellent crack resistance. With its higher alloy content, it offers outstanding resistance to heat and maintains weld strength under elevated temperature conditions.

Applications:

Welding of 22% Cr – 12% Ni stainless steel
Joining ferritic stainless steel to austenitic stainless steel
Used for components exposed to service temperatures up to 300°C
Heat-resistant cast steel, 18% Cr – 8% Ni clad steel, and stainless to Cr-Mo steel or carbon steel welding

Shielding Gas:

Welding with 100% Ar gas or Ar + 2% O₂ gas.
